Hire of the Reading Room

The Reading Room is a small public building in Skelton-on-Ure village, which has the function of a village hall. The building is leased by the Parish council on a token rent from Newby Hall Estate.

We have one main hall with a wooden floor, and a large kitchen with oven, fridge freezer, separate fridge, and microwave. There are two toilets, including one with disabled access. The hall has disabled access for wheelchair users.

The Main Hall measures 9.90m X 4.90m.

There is a pull-down projector screen which is free to use and a projector which can be hired by separate negotiation. Please ask for details.

The hourly hire rate for the building is £10.00
